On January 9, 2004 Clean
Current contracted the Institute for Ocean Technology in St. John’s,
Newfoundland to conduct independent testing of the hydraulic
efficiency of Prototype 1b. Independent testing was completed March
27 – 29, 2004. The testing confirmed hydraulic efficiency of 50% and
established the basic proof of concept.
