EnCana Corporation
On January 18, 2005 EnCana Corporation committed a $3-million investment from the EnCana Environmental Innovation Fund. All of the funds have been paid to Clean Current.  
EnCana's Environmental Innovation Fund was established to advance new technologies and solutions that improve environmental performance associated with consuming and producing energy. Commercial proceeds from financed projects will be re-invested into the fund to ensure their sustainability. Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC)

 

On June 22, 2005 the Board of Directors of SDTC approved a grant of $933,000.  A Contribution Agreement was signed on February 21, 2006.

On August 18, 2006 the contract with SDTC was amended to increase the grant to $1,562,000 and to amend Milestone dates to reflect current project status. To date SDTC has advanced $1,423,800.00.

SDTC is a not-for-profit foundation that finances and supports the development and demonstration of clean technologies which provide solutions to issues of climate change, clean air, water quality and soil, and which deliver economic, environmental and health benefits to Canadians.
